Innovative Office Products, Inc. ( www.lcdarms.com), will introduce a new healthcare mounting solution—the 9400 Point-of-Care Arm—at the 2008 Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla., February 24-28, 2008, Booth 1121 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The new 9400 mounting arm extends almost six feet to maximize the flexibility of space-challenged healthcare environments.
The 9400 can be mounted behind a hospital bed while still extending far enough for the patient or caregiver to view the computer screen or LCD TV. The arm folds upwards, minimizing the consumption of valuable horizontal space. The arm also is ideal for use in dental operatories, dialysis clinics and any environment where patients spend time.
“The 9400 is an ideal solution for patient rooms, clinics, dental offices, or anywhere a monitor is needed,” said Bud Oddsen, president of Innovative Office Products. “It’s easy to reposition the monitor through the unique technology we’ve built inside and it folds back flat against the wall when not in use.”
The 9400 Point-of-Care Arm will be available in the second quarter of 2008 and features:
- Maximum extension – up to 68 inches.
- Intuitive use – with no training required for users.
- Minimal space consumption – with arms that fold up.
- Integrated cable management –tomaintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Durable, heavy-duty construction – toease burden for facilities managers.
- Remarkably smooth motion – rotating up to 340 degrees for ease of repositioning.
- Ergonomic benefits – to reduce workplace injuries and lead to more productive employees.
