(www.lcdarms.com), a designer and manufacturer of ergonomic mounting solutions for LCD monitors, laptops and keyboards, is proud to announce that the EVO™ Laptop Arm has been selected for a Merit Award in Interior Design magazine’s annual Best of Year design competition.
The honorees were announced on Nov. 30, when 700 of the design community’s elite gathered at TimesCenter in New York City to recognize the best design of 2007. This marks the 4th design award received by the EVO™ Laptop Arm, which has come to be regarded as the leading solution in the notebook mounting category.
The EVO™ Laptop Arm is a floating docking station for notebooks and tablet PCs. The arm allows the user to create an ergonomic computing station at his or her primary desk, without having to sacrifice the mobility of the computer. A gas spring arm "floats" the computer above the desk for comfortable viewing, with quick attach and release for work on the go. A full-size keyboard and mouse can be used to recapture the comfort of a desktop PC.
