This directive restricts the use of hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic equipment. RoHS specifically restricts the use of six substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ether.
Innovative also demands RoHS compliance throughout its supply chain, with all Innovative suppliers vetted as part of the thorough supplier evaluation process.
