Question Title Can't remove part F on 7500 FLEXmount.
I've recently purchased the Model 7500 with extender wings. Now trying to remove part F so that I can bolt to my desk. The allen nut is too tight to remove. What gives?
 
The allen nut you refer to contains a nylon patch. This is a safety feature designed to prevent the screw from working its way out over time. Unfortunately, it does require effort to remove. It is removable with the included allen key, however-- apply force to it in order to start loosening it.
